So lately, I’ve been racking my brain trying to fix this. I run Plex in Docker on UnRAID. Plex works fine for everyone on the local network. But if anyone tries to access remotely it shows as offline. I haven’t made any configuration changes lately, and Plex says it can be accessed remotely. The two primary subjects are plexamp on my phone when driving and Plex for Roku at my parents house. Plexamp and Plex apps on my phone work while on the wifi, but the moment I disconnect. They say the server is offline.
Did I fall victim to the bad certificate renewal thing that happened? Can someone please help?
Looking at you account i do not see any certificate issue with your servers.
Your docker set up does not look like it is using host mode which essentially make the docker like it is on a different network than the host machine which can cause all sorts of connectivity issues
Could a recent update to Unraid or docker caused it to have messed up? It’s been working fine in it’s current configuration for years?
I suppose it is possible but I would expect lots of folks that run Unraid to be bringing up the same issue. Your ISP could have changed something as well. Could just be a DNS issue and just changing to Google DNS or Cloudflare public DNS make fix whatever it is.
