I’m currently running Plex server as a docker on a Unraid server. Locally everything is great always but it keeps dropping remote connection. I can just click retry and it reconnects almost every time but then it will drop it again minutes later. Ive tried both manual and default ports with a port forwards in place on the Unifi Dream Machine Pro I use as my router. Any help is greatly appreciated since I’m currently considering switching media servers all together over this.
Don’t give too much for that initial/brief green remote access status. That’s kind of the zero-state that Plex will show while it attempts to verify if your server is accessible from outside your home network. If it turns red shortly afterwards, assume it’s not configured correctly and therefore not working at all.
