Is anyone else having as issue with 0.9.9.7 always transcoding media?
I’ve had plexconnect running for sometime now and since I upgraded to 0.9.9.x it wants to transcode every video I have in my library. I know the files will do direct play as the video is from iTunes, and it used to before the upgrade.
I tried to enable direct play in the plexconnect settings but then it won’t play the video at all, saying an error has occurred while trying to play the video. If I set the transcode setting to auto it’ll play, but then it starts transcoding 
Has anyone else seen this behavior? I would go back to 0.9.8.x, but there is a security issue that I don’t want to voluntarily subject myself to.
My setup:
Synology DS 1512+ (DSM 5)
PlexConnect for Synology (release 3-6)
Plex Media Server 0.9.9.7
Thoughts?
