Plex 1.15.0.647

Server Version#:1.15.0.647

So this morning 2-8-19 my Readnas updated. 12 hours later my unraid box shows no updates available in docker but in Plex settings it says there is. Why can’t I update this box? I’m confused. Also all the version on the Plex website still show 1.14.1.5448

@DJ-BrianC hi did your readynas plex actually update, because 1.15 would not even install on my readynas.

does it show @ app.plex.tv > settings version 1.15 ?

Yes it did.

which os6 version ?

I am running 6.10.0 rc1

ok thanks for the confirmation.

I got 4 different readynas, all on 6.10.0 rc 1, and none of them will install the new pms release.

Two issues here right? Your unraid docker version is not updating correctly to 1.15.0 and for @TeknoJunky is having problems with the pre-release of ReadyNAS?

For unraid docker - did you upgrade the actual image? what does it say when it start and tries to apply the update?

I’m not sure what you mean by actual image? Typically unraid says there is an update an it let’s me hit upgrade. It hasn’t done that yet even though Plex is saying an upgrade is available.

Appears to be an issue and a new package will be made available stay tuned

I mean the docker image. It needs to be updated with docker pull or whatever unraid mechanism there is. What exact docker container are you currently running on?

I have unraid too, but I switched from stable to beta from within the docker because I was trouble shooting live TV and got 1.15

I’m also on unraid 6.6.7 r2. I just told unraid to force update Plex and it now has 1.15. Not sure why unraid never notified of the update as it did 3 weeks ago.

I am on ReadyNAS 312, firmware 6.9.5. I started the usual upload file to do an update from Version 1.14.1.5488-cc26…to version 1.15.0.647-67e9…
When Is start the file upload, the system returns a message I have never encountered before:

“Installing plexmedaserver_1.15
0.647-67e950f2_amd64.deb also removes Plex Media Server. Do you wish to continue?”

I am afraid of losing all my data, so I guess I should skip this version or is this something new?

Just ok it. I had the same question and took a chance. You will be fine.

Thanks for the quick reply. I will go ahead install, but will do a backup first to be safe.
Cheers

All went well, actually did the manual download and got version 1.15.0.659…
Thanks again.

You have to open advanced options under docker and force update the docker container to pull the update.

Yup that’s what I ultimately did and commented a few posts back.

Oh sorry about that, I thought I read through them all and didn’t see your post.
