Plex 3.109.2 issues on Samsung SmartTV

Description of problem: Audio cuts out often. Video playback skips forward or has to buffer periodically. Playback to the Samsung TV works perfectly using Synology Media Player. Tested Plex on Windows, MacOS, and Android. All work perfectly. Issue is only on the Samsung TV and only since a recent update to this version that was automatically pushed out via the Samsung App store.
Server Version#: PlexMediaServer-1.16.4.1469-6d5612c2f-x86_64.spk running on Synology DS918+
Player Version#: 3.109.2

Update: Downgraded to PlexMediaServer-1.16.3. This resolved the issue with video skipping forward but still has an issue with sound dropping. Some videos can take up to 1 minute to load or fail to play at all. Again, issue is only with Samsung/Tizen App. Playback on other devices produces no issues whatsoever.

Different Player version. Apparently 3.105 is also broken.
