Hello, since I´ve updated the plex player to 4.1.1 version on my Samsung UE49KU6400 (Tizen 1240) I have problem playing movies, it jumps few minutes forward all the time even the old movie I have before the uptade that I watched them perfectly.

The only solution is to lower the quality even in the old movies as i told you.

You need to wait for this server hotfix to become available in the ‘public’ update channel:

or go back a server version.

I only have this issue in my Tv, I watch the movies perfectly in my laptop even by WiFi.

So I think is a Tizen version problem.

Exactly the same here on samsung tv. Since the update the media skips minutes suddenly or randomly freezes… Nothing else updated, found that the tv app was auto updated on august the 19th. Other clients don’t have the problem

unfortunately until the next update on tv Samsung can not use the application, as said the video is jumping several minutes ahead every 1 or 2 minutes of viewing.

I’ve faced into same problem after update plex for samsung app.
Have I posibility to downgrade my plex app till resolving this issue?

Have you tried server version 1.16.5.1554, or tried downgrading?

I also “only had the issue with my TV” (Samsung) but upgrading the server version has fixed it.

I’ve downgraded the 1.16… it helped it didn’t solve the problem… still buffering over here. I’ve optimized the files, I’ve turned on/off direct stream and play, I’ve set the H264 max level to 4.0 back to 5.1 or whatever is recommended… still can’t stream It’s Always Sunny In PA in darn 720p over a brand new Samsung TV with the app on the store showing it updated yesterday (9/23/19)… good grief this is frustrating to say the least. I just upgraded to lifetime subscription of Plex when I got the TV… wish I would have known. This app is unusable…

I’m now on the hunt for an older version of the app that may have worked. I’ve found this so far but haven’t a darn clue what it really means… yet. these plex folks are way over my head.
