Now that it supports Android Auto, Plex needs to round out its audio capabilities so that it is actually useful in the car:

  • local music playback
  • gapless
  • crossfade
  • ReplayGain

Movie Fan,
I uninstalled the version I updated from the forums, and installed the old version that was on google play. Later on in the day, google play said I had an update. My original statement is accurate, the forum version for android was NOT working for AA.
