Same problem, my box is zidoo z9x. Just switch back to 9.0.6.

Why Plex support is so quiet here? Nobody from the support team to acknowledge this annoying bug? And really bad quality control to be honest!

I found out that the newer version has some performance issues when fast forwarding/rewinding. In older version (8.26.0.28833) ff and rw is very fast whereas in newer version is slower and probe to crashing. Well now the App is worse, Plex needs to look into these problems ASAP My X96Q now has 9.2.0.32520 and its just going down hill, as now going into TV session episodes the app crashes. Also its still now fixed for the settings as the same it crashes too.
