Whenever you make an account or change the username the a is coming up as an invalid character.
USERNAME — USERNAME CONTAINS INVALID CHARACTERS
Could you tell how you arrived at this conclusion?

It started off today not working and i just checked again and it now works.

Don’t forget that the user name which you can set there is used to log in to your plex.tv account.
plex.tv user names are not allowed to have space characters in them.

I received your PM. I have to forward this issue, so this cannot be resolved immediately.
The error is about the username, not the email address.
Currently you don’t have a username set.
Try creating one (it must be globally unique among all Plex users).
I think you can avoid the error message that way.
The developers have been notified about the error though, because it should not trigger when you are simply changing the email address.
