I am running Plex Server on a QNAP device. Unfortunately, the drive that contained the system files (and my Plex Server) crashed. Replaced it and put it into a RAID 5 config so that I don’t have this issue again.
However, since then the Plex Agent will not match movies and obtain metadata. It will add the movie to the database, but it will not add any details to the movie (even if I try to manually match with IMDB). However, I can use TMDB and other agents, just not the Plex Agent.
I saw @drzoidberg33 assist someone with a similar issue, but I don’t understand how I’d “make sure the server can resolve URLs and that the date and time are set correctly.”
As an aside, I also get a weird message when I run Plex from QNAP that I never got before:
“secure connections are not supported for this application”
