Hi everyone!
I have problems with Plex scan and Metadata.
I’m using a small folder with only 5 films to do some tests.
Films in my library are correctly named “name (year) [whatever].mkv” and are correctly recognized (association is good)), but metadata are absent, unless I use “Plex movie” as scanner and “Plex movie” as agent when I create the library. Even in this case, some metadata are missing, as actors etc… (only the poster and the abstract are displaying).
I tried other combinations of scanner and agent when creating the library, and it failed (films correctly associated, but no metadata at all).
I also tried to modify plex > settings > agents, but I’m not sure whether it’s very useful, because whatever the combination I used, nothing changed (and option is returning to “personnal media” automatically).
I read some posts about that, but found no solution.
Does someone have an idea?
