Plex Agent NOT ADDING TV Shows from TVDB/TMDB

There is a show called S Line (2025) which was added to TMDB last year. This TV show does not exist in Plex’s Agent. (S Line (TV Series 2025-2025) — The Movie Database (TMDB))

I added the media but Plex won’t recognise it. I did a manual search on “https://watch.plex.tv/” and searched it using the title and actor’s names. The show is straight up missing.

It has to do with the age rating of that show.
It had been marked as “adult” on TMDB, which was only reverted a few hours ago. Changes on the primary metadata sources will take ~72 hours before they arrive in Plex.

2 methods:

  1. You can activate “Allow matching to explicit content” in the properties of this tv show library. The show will get matched and metadata will be fetched.
    The catch: activating “Allow matching to explicit content” will disable Discover Credits for the whole library. https://support.plex.tv/articles/discover-credits/
    If you don’t want that to happen, try method 2.
  2. go to the top level of that show and pick “Match” from the … menu
    “Search Options” - fill this into the input field for “Title”: tmdb-232402, Press “Search”
