Plex agents never find anything (not even manually)

Server type: linuxserver/plex docker container
Player Version#: :man_shrugging: (web browser, Firefox and Chrome latest versions)

tl;dr
Agents can’t find anything, not even triggering them manually (after confirming the existence of the movie/show in the respective agent)

I’m not sure what’s the issue, this some times works, other times doesn’t.
Normally a few things worked:

  • restart the server
  • ensure /etc/resolv.conf has a nameserver (if not I would add nameserver 1.1.1.1)
    And retry both steps a couple of times.
    It was annoying, but would work some time.

Currently, no matter what I do, it doesn’t seem to work at all.
I’ve tried to inspect the web console logs, but there are so many warnings and some errors that I don’t even know where to start.

If you have any idea what I can do to fix it, or anything for further debug, please let me know.

How about the Plex Media Server.log?
Your server not finding any matches could be linked to some network hiccup, e.g. between the container and your main network – or some requests being blocked on the host machine / router.

My bad, I though I added all.
Updated the main topic, although they have different lenghs, as the Plex Media Server.log is for the full day

Looks like there’s an issue with the Anidb agent you’re using for your library.
There’s a load of other errors but those appear to be linked to the failed Anidb agent

All of them were failing, they started working today, and I dunno why.

But now that you mention, AniDB hasn’t work in a long time, I’ll try to find a new plugin for that.
