Plex Alexa skill says playing but will not play to any player

not sure if its related but I have been trying to get the Alexa Skill (running on various Echo devices, latest get Echo, Echo Show 10 etc) to cast music to different players (ideally a headless PlexAmp I setup) but I also tried it to see if the Sklll would start playing music on an Android tablet running Plexamp and on PlexAmp running on a M1 Mac.

So, basically this command shows the players:

Alexa, ask Plex to list players

then if I ask Plex to play something:

Alexa, ask play to Radiohead on M1

Will as far as the skill is concerned offload the playback to the M1 running PlexAmp - Plexamp itself will take this command and looks like its about to play but just starts spinning.

If I try the effectively same command from another plexAmp it will successful play on the M1 Plexamp (and the headless RPI Plexamp). So I think for me this bug looks like the payload to cast something from the Alexa Skill to an instance of PlexAmp (or Plex) is now invalid (maybe some format change??).

If it helps I could possible fire up Wireshark on my how network and capture network packets? As I am really keen to get this working as I deliberately bought the RPI and installed headless PlexAmp connected to my good Speakers to allow me to use voice commands on my various Echo’s to play music to these speakers.
Note: For clarification each echo can play music from Plex itself without an issue - its only an issue for me when I add “on M1” or “on RaspberryPI” to get the skill command to cast the music to a different device.

Have the same issue as many others seem to have (a lot report it on the Skill feedback within Alexa) - just get silence after I ask it to play music (on a 4th Gen Echo directly). It responds “playing library radio”), then nothing. It worked once (clearly some miracle), but using the same trigger, won’t work since (and didn’t the first 20 times I tried it either). Have disabled/reenabled the skill, changed servers, used mp3 and FLAC, but nup, nothing. Have no issues using PlexAmp app, but it makes using Amazon gear impossible (as there’s no casting option) to hear my music.
