Does anyone know if Plex works with this router? It really seems like it just doesn’t want to. I can’t even get it to stay connected even locally for 30 seconds. I’ve set the server so that it has a static IP. The router has an “Open Nat” setting it uses for games, so I’ve even tried using that by setting it up as the process name in windows (Plex Media Server), the TCP port internally and externally along with the internal IP and still no dice. The modem is definitely not using NAT since i see it nowhere in the GUI and I had a PI running on this before with little to no issue, albeit a router that is dying. I’ve turned off the routers firewall but that still did absolutely nothing. I can’t even get this to go for a minute.
I’ve tried finding out how to limit my Jumbo frames via the Network Connections option in control panel and right clicking my Ethernet, hitting properties, then configure but there is no setting for it. I am very lost.
I just got this thing and I’d hate to return it since it works well but this just seems like a deal-breaker. I’m pulling my hair out here. Can anyone with more of an idea help me figure out what to do?
Edit: turning off static IP got it to work locally…?
