Plex and Synology RS 822+ compatable?

My new Synology RS 822+ has a AMD Ryzen processor, and I dont see a “AMD” option in the Downloads. Is it not possible?

I do see in the Synology DSM Package Center, in the “Beta” section Plex version 1.21.0-3774. Is anyone using this “Beta” version?

All AMD Ryzen are X86_64 instruction set. This is the same as the Intel x64

DO NOT INSTALL the beta package!!! It was from DSM 7 beta.

We’ve tried to get Synology to update to current – and they won’t

@ChuckPa w/ PlexPass it shows 1.30.0.6359-1185e28d9 as the current version.

That one ok as well?

1.30.0 is BETA.

Please use Public. I’ve tested it and it works.

There have been reports of issues (general issues) with 1.30.0

One user just backed down to 1.29.2

Given the holidays are coming, are you content with 1.29.2 until January?
(I tend to prefer stability over new features)

Version 1.31.1.6782 is now available, ok to update?
