Synology DSM 7.2.2 , Plex Server suddlenly incompatible?

Synology removed support for the own Video Station and had an article with alternatives and mentioned Plex but I run the latest version for my DS918+, really poor work Synlology.
Any solution?

Same issue here. Just installed latest DSM 7.2.2 version and Plex server stopped working :confused:

Maybe it is your Plex Media Server Version,

Try go back to Server Version 1.40.4.8679

When trying to install 1.40.5.8897-7000 on DSM 7.2.2, DSM says that version 1.29.2.6364-7001 or above is required.

Something wrong somewhere give 1.40 is higher than 1.29.

Tried the latest beta Plex and DSM says it needs 7.2-70000 or higher.

On the Plex.tv website, there is a new drop down from 7.2.2+ and the Plex version on there has worked for me.

This 7.2.2+ version doesn’t show up on my side, I tried both the website in french and english.

Maybe it’s been removed already?

I guess You have to wait to Plex moves it out of beta or You become a Plex Pass user:

You are a Plex Pass user, so you should have access to the beta version 1.41.0.8911. Follow this link and select the version for “Synology (DSM 7.2.2+)” from the dropdown menu

My teammate was handling the coordination directly with Synology (primary)
