Plex and Tidal on a Synology DSM 7

I have a large library one a Synology DS920+ that I’m looking to “merge” with a SINGLE service, and serve to multiple devices, including Amazon Fire HD “Sticks”. It APPEARED as if Plex/Tidal was the answer - but having some interesting issues.

When I initially connected the Amazon Plex App, it initially could not see ,my Tidal account or any music on Tidal. Now, a few hours later, it can see albums just fine AND play SOME tracks. OTHER tracks show “An Error occurred while playing” and yet play fine, OTHER tracks show the same error and will NOT play.
And on a browser on a PC connected to my server, ANY Tidal track returns “An error occurred trying to play this item. Please make sure content from TIDAL is not already playing on another device.
Error code: h4 (Not Supported)” and won’t play at all.

Help??

When I PAY for something, I expect REAL support, not this nonsense.

Since i wrote this, I uninstalled and reinstalled Plex on my Synology - and was able to play both “local” and Tidal music on Amazon, local music on any random web browser, and both local and Tidal on a PC app.

Now, I’m seeing “An error occurred” on Amazon.

I’d be ashamed to have my name on this kind of crap.

Absent a substantive response, at 0800 tomorrow (Friday, 10/1); I’ll be cancelling my Plex AND TIdal subscriptions and reverting to Synology Audio and Amazon Music - not what I really wanted; but at least they work
