Plex and WiiM apis

Hi folks trying to accomplish remote control of my WiiM running plex

I can control playback on my WiiM just fine. And using plex I can work the library and stuff also

however I can’t seem to be able to tell the WiiM to play x from plex

I see there are two possible ways to do this. WiiM has a play command but I don’t know if that is just for like content of the web

There is also the ability in plex to send to a client but no clients show up. Looked at a bunch of stuff and they all say you have to advertise the player. But I can’t find any settings for that in any of my clients

Anyone able to kick off a plex album to the WiiM? Or even tell me how to advertise the player so it shows up under clients

I should add, all devices are on the same network, same ip address range etc.

Not really sure I understand what you are asking/saying, but for me, on the WiiM:
Pick the tab “Browse“ > then “Music Service” and add Plex.
After this, it should work to pick a full album if you have tagged your music properly.
