Plex Android APP disconects from Plex Server.

Hello, I’m having some trouble with my plex server and I can’t find any answers, so, hopefully someone could help me out :).

I have this problem: I open my Plex Server on my Windows computer, it opens all perfectly, then I go to my mobile phone and open the app, connect to my server and then set my computers Google Chrome as the main screen or the player (I don’t know how to say it but I think you get it) and then use my mobile phone as a remote controller.

The problem comes when after 5min, 30sec, 10min, 2h, it doesn’t have a specific timing, the android app stops communicating with the Google Chrome and I can’t use it as a remote controller anymore if I don’t restart the whole server…

I think it’s clear what I’m trying to say but I don’t really know :P. If you have any questions just ask me and I’ll try to answer as clear as possible.

This happens in iOS as well. It never did in the past and is either an issue with the Plex mobile app, Android/iOS, or both.

Plex always creates intermittent issues with new versions of their servers and apps. I know it is hard to recreate all environments but they should have enough experience with things like MacOS, Windows, Android, iOS, AirPlay, etc to release better software revisions.

So there is no way to solve the issue? I have a remote control to play 1 episode and then I have to go to the computer to change the volume, stop the episode, etc. It’s a bit annoying…
