I’m a new user of plex media server via NAS WD My Cloud EX2 Ultra. I have set up remote access which works. When I open PLEX on a laptop outside the local network, the videos can be played.
But the problem occurs when I open, outside the local network, the PLEX app on my Galaxy S23 phone via mobile data. I open the updated PLEX app downloaded from google play, select the file I want to play, the app reports “This video cannot be played”. However, if I connect via wifi to my home network the video can be played. This happens with all videos. No videos can be played via remote access and phone.
But I don’t have this problem through my laptop via remote access.
