I have plex lifetime and im unable to watch my movies on my mobile device (android s25 ultra). I can see my library and select the movie but then i get the buy pass for remote streaming popup. No problems on my tvs or my laptop out of network. And when any of my friends who try to use my server from there phones it just shows my server is offline for them. Any ideas?

Also just tried to log in and watch on chrome browser for android and im able to watch my movies that way. Just unable to use the app for remote play.

Plex Media Server version? 1.41.2 or later required.
Plex mobile app version? 2025.15.0 is current (release notes).
Does Settings → Remote Access show Plex is “Fully accessible outside your network”?
Restart Plex Media Server. Some people reported this was necessary after the remote access changes went into effect on April 29th. When you restart PMS it checks in with hosts at plex.tv and verifies you have a Plex Pass, can stream remotely, etc.

ill look in to my versions and try a restart and see what happens

i have performed a server restart and i still get prompted to purchase remote watch pass.
my account shows plex pass lifetime. all though it was purchased in 2021 so i dont know if that has something to do with it or not
That should work.
I’m using same versions with a Pixel 6a and can stream remotely.
Do you have any special characters in your phone name? See Settings → About → Device Name in the Plex mobile app.
You might try signing out of the app, deleting it, rebooting the phone, then re-installing.
That’s a pain, but not sure what else to try.
You’re streaming remotely with other devices, so remote access from the server is working, so the problem seems to be with the mobile app.
