Plex android client on meta quest cannot stream video (without using external player)

Server Version#: 1.30.0.6442
Player Version#: all android player versions. current is com.plexapp.android_9.13.1.37355-853089969_minAPI23(arm64-v8a)(nodpi)

ios, appletv & web streaming all work seamlessly. The quest streaming worked fine up to ~5 months ago. I wondered if the issue was related to the quest install, so I performed a factory reset. If i enable external player, video streams fine.

I don’t see anything obvious in the logs. If you have any suggestions, please let me know.
