Player Version#:android tv plex app, I always update to the last version of the app.
The following problem only happens with the Android TV plex, not with the Android app for phones.
The problems appears for ages, and for any album etc in what follows.
The problem :
Let’s say I have an album with N songs S1,…,SN and let’s say I put S1, S2, S4 and SN in a playlist, that I open the playlist and play the first song with the play nex song option activated. The S1 and S2 will be played, and next not S4 but S3, then S4 and the S5 etc etc etc. As if it wasn’t the playlist that is played but the album.
You have to play the playlist, not the song.
i.e. use the play icon which is shown when you enter the playlist. Don’t select a particular song and play that.
So that, for instance, after having started to play a playlist (by using the play icon which is shown when I enter the playlist) with let’s say 300+ songs, if I want to switch to the 147th song, I can’t scroll down to it and play it by clicking on the play on it (like in any other music streaming service or app) but I have to click approximatively 140 times on “next” with my remote controller until I arrive to the song ? Am I understanding this correctly ?
This obviously abnormal behaviour is (luckily) not the same as the (normal) ones on the android mobile phone app or on the web server where the described problem doesn’t happen. This is clearly a bug, come on. Why acting as if it is a wanted feature ?..
Can we expect this bug to be solved once for all ? Because it really makes the android tv app experience an horror.

I updated to 9.2.0 a couple of minutes ago. The bug is still present. I see that in 9.2.0 the logo of the app changed. I can logically conclude that according to Plex, changing the app logo is more important that solving a bug.
Plex people shouldn’t really ask themselves why their customers are so p*** off. The answer is right there. All Android Tv Plex users are annoyed (least to say) by this bug, the app is already a joke in some circles due to bugs and poor design (I can confirm), and Plex finds that changing the logo is top priority. It is really scandalous.
Just updated to version 9.2.1.32664. the bug is still not fixed. I guess that paying for plex lifetime wasn’t enough.
