Plex Android unable to play synced mp3 files

As per 6th of August 2020, it still doesn’t work, sync still produces mkv files instead of mp3

Plex Server Version : 1.20.0.3181
Plex Android Version: 8.4.2.19372 (fd5d0b8b)
Plex iOS Version    : 7.3.1
