Since upgrading to the latest version (21st August 2019) the Plex ap will not start and comes up with error message
uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘Lastsourcepivots’ of undefined.
I see posts going back for some time on this subject but nothing from a Plex official giving any explanation or solution. LG have referred me to Plex. So Plex what gives and when will it be resolved. Because as it stands the Plex Ap is a big waste of space at the moment
I have the same exact issue on an OLED55B8SLC. That is very annoying.
Turn off your TV, remove power for ~30 seconds, then reconnect, turn on TV and launch Plex app.
I’ve had my LG OLED get in a weird state a couple of times (not just w/ Plex). Removing power straightened things out.
Didn’t make a bit of difference. Found a 3rd party app called Xplay (which is not free) which seems to work…
Not holding my breath for Plex to respond or sort it out as it looks like it may have been a problem for a couple of months now.
The issue was solved for me. I did not have to update anything on the TV. But reading here, that’s how it is supposed to work:
So, just try and launch the app again…
