My TV is local to My Plex server and I’ve been experiencing the issue of stuttering on some of my movies and was unable to figure out why. After playing around and comparing my files, I figured that if the number of subtitles embedded in the mkv file is around 30 the Samsung Plex app will stutter while playing the movie. To fix this problem, the number of embedded subtitles should be reduced to around 25. This can be done by a software like MKVToolNix. Hopefully Plex app can be fixed so that it can play files with more than 30 subtitles.
