The app is getting more and more crowded with worthless stuff that I have to keep turning off. There is no default setting for libraries on sort order and no options to turn off the recommended view. The “recommend” view in a library is totally useless and serves no purpose. Instead of giving more items we didn’t ask for how adding items that are useful. Like an option for our libraries to be displayed all the time and not hide them when you enter them. If you want to truly customize a home screen then give us that ability instead of the “reset home screen option” Also please give the option to remove “Recently added” to each and every library - It is just more useless clutter.
Better yet - The way this should be designed is the settings stored at the plex server and the client. This way default settings can be set and available to all players then if needed each player can customize it own view. But the defaults should come from the plex server.
I’m starting to look for other options to replace this media server.
