I have a NAS server that has been upgraded to the more up to date version, we are able to watch films from the NAS drive on Windows and mobile devices so we know that it’s not a NAS issue. I have two Sony Android TV’s that used to play all films without any issues. You can load the Plex app and read the content listings from the server but as soon as you try and play any film you get the same error message of “Error - An error occurred while attempting to play this video. Please try restarting both the Plex Media Server and this app.”
I have been over everything I can think of to get this fixed - but nothing, any ideas please will be gratefully received.
