Plex App on Apple TV Stopped Working. Refresh Code?

I’ve got an annual Plex Pass (which just renewed on April 1) and my server is on a Mac Mini. I use the Plex app on my Apple TV (generation 3). Earlier tonight, while I was watching a TV show that I had recorded, Plex just froze. The recorded show I had been watching would not play. I made sure I was running the latest version (1.15.3.876), I logged out of my Plex server and I rebooted my mini as well. Doing this usually solves any Plex problem.

Not this time, however. Now, when I try to open the Plex app on my Apple TV, the screen says “welcome to Plex” and “uh-oh, that didn’t work” and asks me to refresh my code. It says “just a moment, we’re generating a code for you” and then I get the “uh-oh” message again. Where do I find the code which I assume I have to input into the 4 boxes on the the screen?

I currently cannot access Plex at all on the Apple TV. WTF just happened and what do I need to do to be able to use the Apple TV Plex app again? Plex works fine if I access it directly on the Mac Mini. Thanks.

I ended up deleting and reinstalling the Plex app, which solved the problem. :woman_shrugging:
