Plex app on LG Oled connect to PC but cannot connect to NAS

Player Version: Latest on LG OS

I am using a Synology NAS with the Plex app installed. On my iPhone, I have no problem connecting with the Plex server on my NAS. When I start the Plex server on my Windows PC the app on my LG OLed connects fine to my PC. However, the Web OS app on the TV cannot connect to the NAS server, whatever setting I try. Who can help me?

are all devices on the same lan and subnet? are all devices connected via wifi in your description above (excluding the syno)? can anything else besides your iphone connect to the syno PMS using wifi, e.g. the windows plex client?

Hi djfriday13. You put me on the right track. The TV uses a different router than the PC and NAS. When I disconnected the TV from Ethernet and switched to WiFI, the Plex app on WebOS worked well. I am using a different router as otherwise, my TV set-top box does not work correctly, but that is another story. Plex works, and I now know where the issue came from. Thanks a lot!
