Plex App on Nvidia Shield Pro 2019 plays the incorrect audio track

Server Version#: 1.25.9.5721
Player Version#: 9.0.6.31998

When playing a particular movie from my library, it plays the wrong audio language/track. This movie has 3 audio tracks (English, French and Commentary in English), I select the second one (French and Plex App marks it as selected), but the audio I hear is from the commentary track.

I use Plex on other devices (iOS, Web App) and everything is fine there, the correct track is played as expected.

Same here, I’m on Experience Update 9.0.2 and the issue presents itself for many files (and they’re all correct) and with the latest beta or stable version of PLEX.

I select the TrueHD track (1st one) and it plays the Stereo track (3rd one);
I select the AC3 compatibility track (2nd one) and it plays the TrueHD track
I select the Stereo track and FINALLY it plays the TrueHD track I wanted in the first place.

This is unacceptable, whether it is an issue with the NVIDIA software or the PLEX app, it ruins all the experience of streaming.

Please answer!

This exact thing is happening to me with numerous anime MKVs in particular, though anecdotally it seems to be things that are compressed to some extent as I’ve not had it happen with any pure rips I’ve created. At first I thought I was losing it, but when I tested the same files on my PC and just played the files natively in any media player they were fine. I verified in every instance the the audio tracks actually are correctly labeled, MKV flags are set correctly, etc. It is definitely the player app on the shield that specifically exhibits this behavior. I can’t comment how long this has been going on, but it definitely has been happening since 8.20.x
