Plex app v2.2.0 won't start on LG OLED TV with webOS v3.6.1-913

Player Version#: 2.2.0

Installed the Plex player on a LG OLED55C7BOZ and when I’m trying to start the app the Plex logo is shown as it normally does and then after 30-45 seconds I get the splash screen that says:

“Plex is unable to start due to an error
Please start by suing the Reset Plex button below…”

Clicking on the reset button and trying to start the Plex app again throws the same error.

So is open for suggestion on how to solve this and whether the current lg-webos is supported or not.
