Plex app won't show up on Fire TV ( 2nd Gen )

I’ve latest Plex app installed (used FireOS apk) but it won’t show up in “Recent” and in “Your Apps”. I’ve search plex to be able see and then launch it.

Is this just me or is it a known issue?

Sometimes after you install an app it gets put in “Your Apps” with some kind of generic poster for the app icon. Make sure you’re not overlooking it thinking it’s some other app

If you can’t find it type “Plex” in the search bar and click on the app icon. If it’s actually installed it will open. If not, it will ask you to install it again

Ok, it turned out to be a problem with a apk downloaded from here. I installed Plex from the Amazon store, It did show up. Of course, the store version is not latest. AFAIK, the store not having latest version is a very old issue for whatever reason… sigh…
