Plex Arcade?

@morpheus2n2 Either, up to you.

It does the same thing in incognito mode.

@dmaker-plex I’m blind. That third line </Mapping. Removing the slash.

<?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>
<Mappings>
</Mapping
	platform="Super Nintendo Entertainment System"
	core="snes9x_libretro.dll"
/>
</Mappings>

Do you use a VPN or reverse proxy? That can block things.

Nope. I’ve also turned off wifi on my phone and tried over mobile connection and get same thing. I think it must be something with my account.

Mine doesnt “auto populate” with the included games either. I have recreated the library section several times, nothing seems to change. I did noticed that it lists a path for the games in the Plex server install directory, but when i went there, the directory \Games didnt exist.

That did the trick! Thank you.

Now if I can just figure out what the default key bindings are for Chrome.

Thank you.

New problem: I tried one snes game, then after cancelling out and launching any others, I just get a spinning wheel. I assume the game transcoder has probably hung or stopped.

Yeah, I had to kill the transcoder.exe and then I could launch a game again. That is disappointing.

EDIT: it is not doing this repeatedly, however.

Network configuration prevents direct connection to game session.

Error code: -6200 (Network)

Best £2:99 I’ve not spent. Where’s RetroArcher.

:confused:

Signed up for Plex Arcade, installed and ran Core Manager, added Games library, and everything looks to be in order. But I get this error –

An active Plex Arcade subscription is required for game playback.
Error code: 8013 (Account)

Everything attached to my account shows that I have Plex Pass and Plex Arcade. Any suggestions?

Reload Plex Web.

Sorry, I should mention that I’ve reloaded several times, tried on various clients (iOS, Mac, Windows), all with the same error.

The network config error ended up being a Windows firewall setting for me. I believe it was for Parsec process.

Cheers, I’ll have a look, much appreciated.

Not 100% sure if this is intended behavior or not.

I have a (trial) Plex Arcade membership.
I set up a server.
I shared it with my brother to test, who does NOT have a Plex Arcade membership.
My brother can’t launch games because he doesn’t have a Plex Arcade membership.

So everyone who wants to use the feature in any capacity must have a Plex Arcade membership, not just the server owner, correct?

I just checked and your account does have the subscription. You could try restarting PMS.

Yes, that is correct.

What if the user is a “Home” user? IE: Full plex account but the user is a member of the plex home…

A few thing from my first try.

  1. How many default Atari games should I have? I only have 8 right now.
  2. I try to start a game in chrome and get Critical Error 15000 for any game
  3. My mappings XML file has no entries by default is that correct?
