Plex Arcade?

Sounds like the “Plex Game Transcoder” isn’t closing properly when you exit the games. If you stop that process manually, you should be able to play again. If you can provide details on what games/cores are causing this and what type of system you are using, we can look to see if we can recreate and improve recovering from this.

https://support.parsec.app/hc/en-us/articles/360001106411-How-Do-I-Know-If-My-Graphics-Card-Supports-Hosting-A-Game-With-Parsec doesn’t list that as supported.

To run NES Roms? Wow.

Is there a way to quickly stop the transcoder without restarting PMS? I’m on Windows 10 PC running a Ryzen 7 3700X CPU and Radeon RX 590 GPU. I was using the FCEUMM core downloaded via the Core Manager for NES games, and Gambatte for Game Boy games.

Windows Task Manager

Ok I figured it out. If you are still having an issue update your billing information to not use paypal (it wont work)

That’s similar to the GPU @GizmoDVD mentioned above. It’s not listed as a supported gpu. From their site

“AMD APUs based on GCN1.0 or higher containing VCE and DirectX 11.1 may be supported when running latest drivers from AMD.com”.

I don’t know the details on your card, but if it meets that criteria, maybe check for a newer driver. Or possibly an older driver.

That should work.

I’ll look into it, thanks. The games run fine when I load them – I haven’t found a single supported core that doesn’t work at this point, so it’s running well, just the transition between games.

I can’t seem to get my controllers to map. Atari games are streaming just fine, but the controllers aren’t working. Any ideas? I’m on chrome, AMD Radeon R9 390 GPU, AMD FX 9890 8 core CPU.

im just using my plex account. no sign-in feature

What controller are you using?

All of them… my ps4, xbox 360, and a few generics.

The mapping should be automatic. Lets stick with the XBox One controller. Is this a wired one or wireless?

What game are you trying?

Hello I did not realize I needed a dedicated GPU I have fixed this issue with a Nvidia 1650 4G. Now I get a black screen when I try to play games.

360, not One. Is there a difference? Also, I’ve tried one of the uploaded games from plex; desert falcon, and one I have; Pac-Man. Nothing from any of them.

Check that the Plex Game Transcoder isn’t running in the background already. Kill it if needed, then try playing a game.

Oh sorry. They shouldn’t but we’ve only tested with the One version. Are you playing in Web? If so, bring up the playback settings menu while the game is running. It should tell you what controllers are paired to each player. Click the buttons and stuff, that player should blink telling you it is getting the command. If it’s not blinking, then it’s not working.

Where are you getting the game cores from?

That did the trick. Now, my android phone… I get a black screen. Any ideas?
