Plex bandwidth limit

Server Version: 1.41.3.9314

Hi,
Im currently settings my home lab to be able to host plex on k8s. Currently I have this setup

ISP → Router → NGINX Ingress controller → Plex.

I have the service accessible from internet using HTTPS via lets encrypt.

When Im watching Plex using the web browser on my own plex hostname, I have all available with unlimited bandwidth, but when I start androidTV app, there is 1000kbps limit, why is that when my plex is accessible directly using internet ? Do I need the plex pass to have that feature ?

This usually means you don’t have remote access setup correctly and you are using relay.

The relay is disabled

Also when I try the remote access it seems to be fine, but when I exit the settings page for remote access Im getting error again.

When I set it up its:

But then I exit the settings page, go to like Network, and suddenly it shows red exclamation mark

and when I go back its in this state

may the remote access cause the problems ? I dont think so because Im using my own DNS to access my instance of plex no?

(I’m assuming you blanked out your IP address and you are not seeing a white box there)

Since you mention custom DNS, does that mean you have set the Custom server access URLs (in the Network section of prefs)? If so, you need this to also resolve outside of your network to your public IP address as this is the address given to clients both inside and outside of your network.
