Plex buffering when upgrading from plexmediaserver_1.3.2.3112-1751929_amd64

If I upgrade my server to any update after the one stated in the discussion title, I receive buffering issues on high bitrate files, typically 6.0 Mbps or higher. After reverting back to the version in the title, I have no issues with the same files. This issue is not specific to any file. I have a 1 Gbps uplink speed and I am streaming remotely from kansas to WI and MN. my speedtests show that I always have at least a 100Mbps uplink speed but goes as high as 240, never under 100 and I have never had more than 4 client streaming at once. The server specs are AMD Quad Core 3.0Ghz 16GB Ram and 2 TB of hard drive space. Running Ubuntu Server Zesty Zapus (17.04). I have a 60Mbps download speed at my house in WI. Maybe something may have been overlooked in the coding of the new versions? Any help with this would be much appreciated because as of currently, I can not update to newer versions.

We know of the problem; worked it out this week; and (the best part) it’s in QA now being tested.

The hard facts: 1.3.4 is ok. 1.4.1 and above is not. It was brought to my attention and I spent two days on it with someone. We found it, pinpointed it for Engineering, and they did a rapid-turnaround for us… Smoking fast.

Please just hang in there a couples more days and, IIRC, Plex-Pass users will be able to ‘beat the tar out of it’ and report back what the findings are. Everything we see here… which includes ‘In the Wild’ testing is WAY better and back to what it should be.
