Plex cannot find a show

I have been trying to add the TV show “Ms. Marvel (2022)” to my plex server and it is refusing to locate the show. I have tried many naming conventions. Currently it is

Ms. Marvel (2022)
Season 01
Ms. Marvel (2022) - S01E01.mp4

I have tried add the episode name into the filename as well. I have tried removing the “.” from the show name. I have tried just using S01E01 as well as S01E01 - Episode Name. I have tried adding {tmdb-92782} to the show name as well as trying {tvdb-368612} and also {imdb-10857164}. I have even created a .plexmatch file containing the following

Title: Ms. Marvel
Year: 2022
tvdbid: 368612
tmdbid: 92782
imdbid: 10857164

Plex is just completely ignoring this show. Anyone have any ideas?

Edit: I should also mention I did the Plex Dance as well.
Edit 2: I also tried the episodes using Ms. Marvel (2022) - 1x01 - Episode Name. I also tried to name it Miss Marvel (2022) and even Mrs. Marvel just for the hell of it and no luck.

Can you post a copy of your server logs?

I know plex will see and index this show, so there must be something with your server.

Can you go to your TV show library and post a screenshot under edit => add folders ?

I also just realized that Plex didn’t pick up the show Secret Invasion (2023) either.

So you are running into a very common human error. your show is located at /share/Storage Vault/TV Shows/M/Ms. Marvel (2022) however you added /share/Storage Vault/TV Shows to your library.

So you have 2 options, remove the M directory (and I am assuming directories for each letter) or remove /share/Storage Vault/TV Shows and add /share/Storage Vault/TV Shows/A thru /share/Storage Vault/TV Shows/Z

EDIT: I am going to bet if you start looking for duplicates in your library you will see a LOT of them. Plex does not handle extra directories well.

I tested it by added M directory to the list and it works. You are amazing, thank you so much!

Make sure you remove the old path otherwise you will have more headaches.
