Plex won’t start anymore after I wanted to try and backup it’s db/cache files
I set Plex’s permissions to full control recursively but I keep getting the same error:
Log files: Plex Media Server.3.log (3.4 KB)
Any ideas?
Fixed the issue by commandline, gave ownership back to plex:video using:
sudo chown -R plex:video /volume1/Plex/
Apparently read/write access to a folder isn’t enough?

Did you make manual adjustments to the Plex share in Control Panel - Shared Folders previously?
I configure the share with “Full Control” permissions for user Plex.
EDIT: Can you show me what Control Panel - Shared Folders - Plex - EDIT has listed for permissions?
