I’ve been using plex for over 2 years now without any problems. Then recently I noticed that the plex app on my Roku randomly couldn’t find my server (I was signed in and in the app, but it couldn’t find anything). I checked my server PC (that the filed are stored on), and when I opened the web browser and tried to used plex, it had the same problem. I was logged in, but it couldn’t see any of the files. I restarted my Router and that did nothing, then I rebooted the computer and that seemed to fix the issue. my roku and the app on the PC could both see all my files and I had no problems.
Unfortunately it didn’t completely fix the problem. Now it seems that whenever I rewind a show whether it be a couple of frames, or 10+ minutes, Plex does the same thing and can’t find any of my files (On the Roku or the PC where the files are stored) until I restart the computer where the files are stored.
