have set up media folder in tru nas and windows smb. i can copy to folder in tru nas. when i go to plex and add tv library and brouse for media folder it’s not there, any help would be appreatied.
Let’s start with: is this Plex Media Server of yours running on the TrueNAS or on your Windows machine?
If it’s on the NAS – have you already reviewed permissions to ensure the functional/system user running the PMS has at least read permission to the media?
Plex is running on Trunas. i used the same settings as my other folder movies which plex sees.
