so i just noticed that my PLEX can’t play ANY .srt subtitles in Chinese, or sync it. the web player / iOS app will just stuck on loading screen, and the sync will just report transcoder error.
however, if I choose English subtitle or disable subtitles all together, the playback works. but not the sync feature.
and I can confirm the subtitle and video files are good because those are old files used to play in plex just fine, and Synology video station along with other Mac video players play them with subtitles just fine.
any idea?
