Plex Certificate "404" -- Unable to obtain Certificate from cloud

Hi @ChuckPa I am on the same boat - “ERROR - CERT: Could not fetch certificate from the cloud: 404”
Could you help me too pls? Can’t PM you…
Thx

Hey @chuckpa I have also been experiencing this issue, can you kick my certificate?
Thank you!

@martyzeq,
Which server name please?

@sstuetzel,
Done. Please restart the server

@ChuckPa

Hey mate, I am also getting the “CERT: Could not fetch certificate from the cloud: 404” error for the last couple of days. Any chance you can assist?

Cheers

@mjonessa

Please restart the server.

If it fails to correct the problem , download and attach the logs.

amazing - that has done the trick!

many thanks and enjoy the weekend mate!

Great, thanks worked

@chuckpa Seem to be having this issue as well.

@Myzt

Which server please (name)? I see two

There should only be one? So that’s odd, but the one named MYZT.

@Myzt,

I’ve reset MYZT

The other server was the Synology NAS. Ring a bell?

Restart MYZT please.

Oh that was really old. Is there a way to “kill” that one? Cause I don’t even think I have that hardware anymore.

Done. :smiling_imp:

And this worked, thanks so much!!!

@ChuckPa Mine as well please!

“CERT: Could not fetch certificate from the cloud: 404” in my logs.

@ChuckPa

Logs enabled and collected. While its not either of the error codes you mentioned, its still a certificate error – ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID.

Accessing https://app.plex.tv/desktop and showing Chrome dev tools, shows a similar cert issue

@ChuckPa I’m also having the same issue on bevo2 if you would kindly assist me as well.

I need server logs please; not web logs

That SSLv3 error looks like the server and host are fighting.

The specific error you should see for this problem is a ‘404’.

This is why I need to see the server logs, collected about 1 minute after server restart.

@ChuckPa I’m also having this issue!

@Sodapop73 – Done

@cr4mb0 - Which server please ?

@rthomson – Done

– Restart servers
