Plex changing saturation and transcoding x265 to x264 only on pc

Server Version#: 1.19.4.2935
Player Version#:

So, the problem is that Plex Web seems to change the saturation(?) of the image (screenshots, left one is plex, right one is potplayer, its also the same with vlc). The video is encoded with x265 so plex always transcodes it to x264 (sorry if its not important, im a noob :/) This issue happens on all devices BUT not on Plex Media Player (windows 10).

Also another thing, plex transcodes x265 videos while watching on my pc, but on mobile it plays in original quality. Is there a way I can do the same with my pc? (Also
Thank you in advance and sorry for the english  (This also happens only on plex web, Plex Media Player plays in original quality.)

web browsers are poor media players and can’t play x265.

use the plex for windows, or plex media player (2 different plex player apps for pc)

for general 4k transcoding info see also @ Plex, 4k, transcoding, and you

its a long thread but has lots of info

ok, thank you for the clarification. But what about the saturation problem?

when transcoding, hdr information is lost so colors are usually way washed out.

but otherwise looks maybe hdr on a non-hdr display I assume

ok, thank you :)))))
