Plex client Android TV stuck on "working... Please wait" on launch

It has been stuck on working for quite some time now. Restarted the TV and got the same thing. TV apps are set to auto-update, so I guess the client is the latest available version.

Restarted the server and the app again, all good.

I have the same problem. exiting the app on my PC and restarting does no good, only a hard restart of the amazon fires stick does any good. This happens about once a week or so.

Same thing happens to me on each of my fire sticks once a week or so. Force closing the app and restarting it fixes it until it happens again. Very annoying.

I experience the same thing on my Fire TV Stick 4K. It would be nice if someone could fix this:
