Plex Client App for Windows incredibly slow and bugged

I’m using Dell XPS 17. But my performance in Plex when trying to use the app is awful. Absolutely everything is lagged, and video playback is bad, about a 3 second delay when trying to just move the mouse and get the UI to display from full screen. I’ve just updated the player from previous version and still no improvement.
