running plex client on kodi every time i run it i have to link it using code via plex.tv/link … any idea why?

Not so much familiar with linking issues.
It probably will help if you can provide some more details on your particular setup (e.g. what versions of Plex / Plex for Kodi / Kodi you have installed and on what platforms).
The only idea coming to mind is that the client uses a different identifier for authentication when it attempts to establish its connection to your server, therefore making Plex considering this a new client that requires signing in anew.

the version of server is Version 1.20.1.3252
plex for kodi i think latest stable version / is there a way how to change auth of client? It was ok before i upgraded server … so no clue if they changed something in the server code so its not compatible with old client (plex for kodi?)

I’m not aware of any changes (nor did I notice other posts where users reported similar issues linked to the recent update).
so i have no clue why its happening or how to debug that.
You should only be forced to re-link when you sign out of plex.
If you just exit the app, this should not happen.
