Plex Cloud Server won't show up in Xbox One app

Hi guys, ever since I updated the xbox one app my cloud library doesn’t show up properly every day. Some Days I can get it to load, some days I can’t. I rebooted my xbox, checked the network speed (on lan 10 up 300 down), close and reopen the xbox app, sign out and sign back in and just doesn’t load. I can load my plex cloud on my desktop but I’m getting sick of having to do that when the xbox app was working properly in the last update. Can a tech support member please take a look into why sometimes the cloud library will show up sometimes? Im on the latest version of Xbox One S updates I keep everything up to date. And I use google drive as my plex cloud.

Im having the same issue, mine wont load at all. Very frustrating.

I’m having the same issue too. At the home screen it just displays a rotating circle in the middle and nothing happens. It seems to be a problem of waking the Plex Cloud server that is asleep. The only way I can wake it up is through the iOS app/desktop app. After it is awoken, then the cloud library loads and displays proper in the Xbox one app. Plex support please take a look at it. Thanks

Same issue, please fix. Was working fine prior to a couple of days ago

Same issue. @Moussa is this identified as a known issue and passed on to devs? Same issue is occurring on the updated Plex Media Player.

I just tried to access cloud via Xbox One app and I’m not sure if I’m having the same issue. When I go to Media Server Status, it shows my NAS and cloud with a green padlock. However, I see no actual way to select the cloud server, as in the list with three dots, there is only the NAS.

I haven’t used the Xbox One app before, and I’m new to cloud service in general, but I can fully access my cloud and NAS from my Android devices and my PC with a simple switch from a drop down to select the server I want to use. I can’t find any way to actually select my cloud drive with Xbox, but it’s possible I’m being dumb. I would think it would just be up at the top, next to my NAS on the main selection screens, but is there somewhere else I’m supposed to look, or is this a bug (i.e., the same thing you guys are seeing)?

Same issue here. My plex cloud server on the Xbox only shows up after I have opened the Plex app on my Samsung phone. What’s going on?

Hi there. Thanks for the reports, we are investigating the issue!

This should now be fixed.

Thanks @Moussa

Thanks @Moussa

Thanks @Moussa

Yes, thank you. At least I can see the libraries now. They don’t seem to load though. Really slow and just can’t get the libraries to display. Anyone else have this issue? I get an “unable to display the dashboard” error.

@mbarylski What if you select the library to enter it?

@Moussa It was the same result, but it just came up when I tried it now. However, when I select a picture to view, it just spins and the picture never comes up. I should’ve mentioned that before. I’m having problems with Photo libraries which is pretty much all I use for cloud. I do have a music library too and that one seems to work fine.

I see. Then please grab some logs and send them our way!

Sure, here you go. I got the library to load both on the dashboard and going straight to the library, but I couldn’t open a picture.

@mbarylski Thanks for the logs. I’m not sure exactly where in the logs you’re trying to open the photo but I see a lot of database errors… I’m not sure how severe they are, but fixing them to rule them out first may be best.

Ok, what recommendations do you have to fix the database errors? I’ve optimized databased, cleaned bundles, emptied trash, … There doesn’t seem to be anything else I can do other than delete the library and start over. Any recommendations?
