Plex completely changed, I can't even find where to add libraries!

I have used Plex pretty religiously for about 6 years. I have an outdated SmartTV, but it’s been running fine. I think I actually added something about 2 days ago to the server.

Today I launched the server on my desktop (Win10), and the app looked COMPLETELY different. No hint of my media. Even my User Icon changed from a photo I’d uploaded years ago to a green circle with the first initial of my username. It’s like I landed on Mars. I can’t even find a place to add media. On the left side there’s a plus sign with Your Media next to it. I click that and there’s a link to get Plex Media Server. I click the link, upgraded the server, and yet it still looks identical. What the heck happened?? I can see Plex’s content, but there doesn’t seem to be a way to see anything I’ve stored on my server.

The account you are using currently shows you have not signed into since it was created in 2022. It has no servers.

Do you have some other account? If you are windows you can look at the advanced server settings in the windows registry or the server logs from when it starts up to see which account it signs itself into.

OMG! I hate getting old. :smiley: I tried a different account name that I often use, and it all came back. whew
